Letter From Christine

DEAR FRIENDS OF CJ/ MOVING ARTS PROJECTS,
This summer I got out of the studio and stopped to smell the roses. Here I am enjoying the blooms of Regents park in London, England with
my youngest son Teddy, in a picture taken by my eldest son, and new
personal photographer, Tommy.
What a great time we had visiting old friends and making new ones
-seeing art exhibits, parks, gardens, dance performances, chamber
music, the World Cup and of course all the zoos in London and all the
zoos and safari parks in the towns surrounding London. (we are animal
fanatics)
Yet amidst our joy and delight at the beauty of a new city and the
wonders of nature and art, the horrible news of war, terrorism, hatred
was ever present. Simply devastating.
How can we create a better world for our children? This is a question I
worry over and contemplate everyday. Usually my questions end up as
evening long projects. These particular questions will, for sure, be
part of a large artistic investigation this year.
But for now..
It is wonderful to be back home and back in the studio. We have
exciting workshops and performances coming up this fall. Check them
out!
We love to see you at our events, and appreciate your support and friendship.
